Come exactly as you are

Juni is built for families who’ve spent too long feeling like they have to fight to be understood. The last thing we’d ever do is make you feel that way with us.

Where we meet

We believe kids thrive in environments where they feel safest, which is why the majority of what we do is telehealth, and why we’ll always encourage whatever setting works best for your family. Where we can, we also offer home visits, because sometimes the best clinic is your living room.

Regulation and safety come first. Always. If your child is having a big day, we’ll never make you feel bad for cutting an appointment short or reaching out at the last minute. We’d rather pivot, maybe do a parent session instead, than push through when the timing isn’t right. We get it, we work with kids every day.

In our sessions

Everyone is welcome to show up however they need to. Move if you need to move. Step out if you need a breather. Fidget, sit on the floor, stand up, whatever helps you actually be there. You can look at us while we’re talking or look at something else entirely. We won’t be offended. That goes for your kids too.

Bring whatever helps

A favourite toy, a fidget, a comfort item, a sibling, a support person, or the dog, all of it is welcome. You might also spot Frankie (Court’s dog, and honestly, an excellent therapy assistant) popping in too.

Tell us what we need to know

Every child is different, and the little things matter more than you think. If your child needs a heads up before transitions, shuts down with too many compliments, or has a particular way they like to be spoken to, just tell us. We won’t forget it, and we won’t take it personally. The more you tell us, the better we can show up for your kid.

Accessibility

We’re also committed to making Juni accessible for everyone. Our telehealth sessions have closed captions if you’re Deaf or hard of hearing, and everything we write, from treatment plans to emails, is in plain, accessible English. If there’s something else you need from us, just ask. And if there’s ever a barrier we haven’t thought of, please tell us. We’d rather know.

We're glad you're here.
